"Pelorus"
Ribcraft 5.85 RIB; MCA coded (category 3 for 8 persons). A well-proven hull, simple and seaworthy. Features include:

  • 5.85m hull (built 1997) with single console and pod seating for 3 persons
  • A-frame with navigation lights and radar reflector
  • Primary engine: Mariner 115hp outboard; auxiliary: Mariner 3.3hp stowed outboard
  • Under-deck fuel tank (90 lt)
  • Fixed and hand-held VHF radios
  • GPS and steering compass
  • Life raft (8 person) and all MCA required safety equipment
  • Depth sounder / fishfinder

pellet "Pellet" is an ex-RNLI "Y Class" inflatable (based on an Avon 3.6m) complete with a RNLI modified Mariner 15hp engine. She is used to teach tiller steering and in support of our work in shallow inshore waters and inland waterways. Very tough and light, she can be deployed almost anywhere - a fantastically versatile boat.
