Dr Mark Whittington
Mark completed his degree and PhD (1993) in marine biology at Liverpool University's Port Erin Marine Laboratory. Following work as a fisheries biologist in the United Arab Emirates, he joined the Society for Environmental Exploration, working in Tanzania and Mozambique. Over the last 10 years, he has undertaken a wide variety of marine and environmental consultancy contracts in the UK and Africa.

He is the author of several scientific papers, reports and has contributed to a number of books on tropical marine science. He is an experienced scientific diver and boat handler.

Mark returned from overseas to join Pelagial and co-ordinates all our consultancy and project management services.
